Food
Besides the normal 3 meals a day we provide free of charge, we also like to do special barbecues to give our residents some variety and special attention.
Face to Face Counseling
This is a very private time and extremely important in letting each women know how important they are and how much we want to listen to them and share ways to help them move forward in their life.
Group Counseling
This is a chance for women to sit with other women going through the same difficult time and receiving energy from each other and compassion understanding that they are not alone and SoulTalk’s professionals are heal with all the support they need.
Retraining Class
These are classes that give our women a new found talent or learning experience to help them find a better job or different career in there life.
Support Group
Our support groups are a way for any women, whether a resident in our Loving Home or not to experience having a confidential and private time for sharing what is happening in their life and to receive many resources to help them along their path of healing.
Art Therapy
Our art therapy classes give our women a chance to express themselves in painting because there are some women that find it easier this way rather then expressing themselves verbally. Especially at the beginning.
Cooking
These are one of the outside classes we put on to put a smile on our women’s faces and teach them something they can actually take home and use on their friends and family. This is often the first time some women can come together supporting each other and learning at the same time.
Self-Esteem Class
Self esteem is one of the most important healing feelings that our women need to feel like they belong and deserve a happy and joyful life. Many women lose all their self-esteem / self-worth by time they come to us, so these classes really give them back their life.
